Manson were appointed by both Taylor Wimpey and Avant Homes to lead the design and planning process of a major housing proposal north of Linlathen Estate. The site is located on the eastern edge of Dundee between Broughty Ferry and the Angus countryside to the north.
The planning submission included detailed proposals for 271 houses on greenfield land. The application was withdrawn from the Planning Authority prior to determination, however this resulted in the allocation of the site for residential development in the Local Development Plan.
Manson reserved the Client’s position over the land through the allocation and the site is due for delivery in 2018 as per the Dundee City Council Local Development Plan.
