Leith Walk / Halmyre Street Approved

The Approval was made by City of Edinburgh Council on the 18th January 2024 following the conclusion of the S75 agreement and a committee Hearing at the City Chambers in Edinburgh.

CW Properties and Manson presented and were questioned by the development management sub-committee before the decision to approve the application was made.  6 votes in favour to 5 votes against made it a tight decision but CW Properties and CA Ventures are delighted to move the project forward and deliver 230 PBSA bedspaces, 27 BTR apartments and 27 affordable homes.

We hope to see the final proposals for the remaining Place Brief sites in due course and look forward to seeing the delivery of a new diverse housing quadrant in Leith.
